Avignon Festival

The Avignon Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Europe, welcoming artists from all over the world. The Avignon Festival consists of theater, music, dance and performance.

Every year, artists from all over the world come to present their productions and play exceptional works. There are also film screenings, exhibitions and concerts with local bands. An event not to be missed!

The Palais des Papes is an example of medieval architecture, and its five terraces offer a spectacular view of the city of Avignon. It was once the seat of the Pope and the 14th century cardinals.

The Palace of the Popes offers many events and activities to its visitors. At the Popes’ Palace, you can admire the magnificent monuments and discover the rich history of the city.

The Popes’ Palace Museum presents collections of over 3,000 works, representing medieval, baroque and contemporary art and architecture.

The Camargue

The Camargue is an area dotted with marshes, small bodies of water. Rich of a specific fauna and flora, it is an emblematic place of Provence.

You can go there on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike and it is a haven of peace and discovery that will undoubtedly seduce you.

Its ecosystem will amaze you since it is a place known for the frequentation of migratory birds in spring and fall.

You will be able to contemplate rice fields, herds of bulls or white horses characteristic of the Camargue.

Trails to be discovered on foot will allow you to survey this region which is ideal for a change of scenery.

Provence, a land of flavors and local products, is a meeting place for producers and visitors. Throughout the year, everywhere in the cities and villages, it is pleasant to stroll along the stalls. Les Baux de Provence

About twenty minutes from the campsite by car, you can visit the famous village of Les Baux de Provence, and admire its sublime landscapes typical of our region.

Its castle is to be visited, and the quarries of Lights present dazzling spectacles. This impressive rock will offer you superb walks in immersion in the Provençal landscapes.

Roussillon

Red like the land that surrounds it, with its narrow streets, sometimes staircases, its interlocking houses whose ochre-painted facades compete in color and harmony.

The views that we suddenly discover, at the chance of an escape. The village of Roussillon is a continuous enchantment, especially at dusk when the rays of the sun come to illuminate the facades, revealing a palette of colors all in shades, from yellow to red.

Graveson

Graveson is a small typical Provencal village located between the Montagnette and the Alpilles.

Come and stroll through its narrow streets and charming shady squares that come alive at cocktail hour. You will find all the shops and useful services (U Express, Restaurants, bar, pharmacy, hairdressers, etc.) but also something to cultivate you with the Chabaud museum.

The entertainment in Graveson is at its peak for the Saint Eloi at the end of July, and for the fête votive at the beginning of September.
